introduction of our family

I hate doing these. It is like selling yourself. LOL.
My name is AL and my wonderful wife of 10 years is Ellen. We met online in a chat room and married about a month after we met in chat. We met face to face for the first an hour before our wedding. We have 2 wonderful children ages 3 and 9. My wife came to me years ago about Polygamy said God had called us to it. I rejected that notion quickly but agreed to pray and seek God. I knew in my heart that seeking God I would prove her wrong. Wow was I shocked when I found God had truly called His people to walk in this. We have been rejected by friends and family for our belief in Godly bible based polygamy. MY wife and I have a large age difference but we know God chose us to be man and wife. After all age is just a number. I am 53 and my wife is 29. We would love to find a sisterwife that is Godly but not caught up in religious trappings. WE are open to a woman with children and a woman aged 25-45. But also a woman older or younger if God so desires. We have a ministry that we would like her to be a part of. We are not part of any denomination and mostly shun the church world. We were told we werent welcome at a church because we are an inter racial couple. Poly and disunity, disharmony, division & disobedience

Well Tejero accepted Pastor Whitten’s challenge and tried to teach his ladies about Biblical "wife submission". Excuse my sarcasm, but how could he be so blessed?!?!?!?!?!? One of his ladies told him that all those Scriptures about wives submitting themselves to their husbands are not for today because today’s woman is so much better educated and sophisticated. Sometimes I am tempted to think she is a reincarnation of Job’s wife. She agrees that she is Tejero’s wife in health, wealth, for better but not for worse. Tejero’s second lady, formerly a deaconess, told him that he is incorrectly teaching the Word, that she knows the Word better than him, so she doesn’t have to submit to him. His third lady has come to believe that polygyny was for then and not for now, and demoted him to best friend status. His other two were not good to her. And the crowning joy is that he appears to be maritally bound to them as long as they want to be his ladies (1 Cor 7:11,12,15), as long as they both live (1 Cor 7:10,11,39). Showers of blessings. The miracle is that Tejero still Loves them.

He can’t do Matthew 18:16,17 with them since their pastors have no respect for him and do not accept their relationship. They would not accept a BF delegation. It’s in the Lord’s hands. At least the one who has chosen "best friend" status with him has told him that when he needs help with daily living activities, she will be available to help him if he can pay her. when you have a great first date in an expensive french restaurant. you are thinking that this may be mr right, and then he asks to borrow $30 gas money to last him until next friday when he gets paid.

Phone number changes

We changed our phone numbers this week. Finally decided to become real full fledged Texans. Like a good little girl, I updated hubby’s number in my contacts list. I then texted him with a suggestion for something that I thought he might want to do….

reply.."And who are you?
Sweetlissa "Your wife. I texted you our new numbers"
reply.."My wife? jajaja. Whats your name honey?"
Sweetlissa "Bertha"
reply.."you got the wrong number babe"
Sweetlissa " I mean Dorcas"
reply…"I still don’t remember you"
Sweetlissa " How bout Sweetlissa?"

Then the phone rings.
A hispanic accent asks me "Who are you?"
I say, "this is Lissa"
He says, "Who were you trying to reach?"
I say, "Randy"
He says, "This isn’t Randy"
I say, "You really aren’t Randy?"
He says, "No, this is Manuel."

Well, anyone who knows hubby, knows this is exactly the kind of joke he would play on me, including using a foreign accent. When we straightened out the phone number I called him and it was all he could do to not roll on the floor laughing. That poor Manuel?

We live one of the greatest countries in all of the world and we have so much to be thankful for. I hope this message reminds you of what we have here to be grateful unto our Lord for this week and each day of our lives here in this blessed land.

I figured this message might be an encouragement to many of you as we give thanks unto God for us being in a country where the gospel and liberty go together as a hand in a glove. God has done great things and by faith and hope even greater days are ahead.

Legalizing Marijuana = More People At Church?

I’m sure that I’ll get somehow slammed for this question but here it goes. If marijuana was legal like drinking, both in moderation of course, would people who smoke pot come to church? I mean is it because of their guilt for doing something illegal that’s keeping them from coming to church? I don’t know the statistics of marijuana users, but I know quite a few people in my area that smoke it. Thoughts?
