Updating BIOS

Hi. I’ve been having a couple of issues with my PC lately and I think a bios update might help. For reference, my mobo is a Gigabyte EX58-UD3R ver 1.6. The thing is, I’m not really sure how to actually go about updating the bios. I don’t really want to dive right into it as I’m pretty aware that screwing up the bios will ruin my PC. Could someone help me out with this? Also, after it’s been updated, will I need to change all the settings back to the way they were, or will it transfer them with the update?

Hunger striker on the square

There is another hunger striker. He sits on the square in his brown shirt and jeans with a large sign. I believe it says he is on day 44 of the strike as of July 29. Here is his sign from July 8:

Why is Dale Schultz still a Republican?

http://www.jsonline.com/news/statepolit … 12103.html

from the article:

“Too often when we don’t come together, we’ve seen short-lived public policies and needless disruption for people and communities. I grew up during the civil rights and Vietnam War movements where the social fabric of our community was torn apart,” Schultz said.

If I were the Dems, I’d be all over this guy to switch parties. It’s happened before.

Psycho Prosser?

Well, this is certainly disturbing:

Wisconsin Supreme Court Justice David Prosser allegedly grabbed fellow Justice Ann Walsh Bradley around the neck in an argument in her chambers last week, according to at least three knowledgeable sources. […]

They say an argument that occurred before the court’s release of a decision upholding a bill to curtail the collective bargaining rights of public employees culminated in a physical altercation in the presence of other justices. Bradley purportedly asked Prosser to leave her office, whereupon Prosser grabbed Bradley by the neck with both hands.

Justice Prosser, contacted Friday afternoon by the Center, declined comment: “I have nothing to say about it.”

Obviously, if the allegations weren’t true, Prosser would “have something to say about it”. Sounds like at least some of the other justices were in Bradley’s office at the time.

Will Prosser resign?

If not, obviously the legislature ought to begin impeachment proceedings.

Unfortunately, with this legislature, you can’t assume that they’d be willing to impeach a justice for physically assaulting another justice … if the assaulter is a Republican.
