Deliberations from Psalm 119

Without hesitation we joyfully affirm that it is God’s Word which “is a lamp to our feet, and a light to our path” and like the Psalmist we “have taken The Lord’s testimonies as an inheritance forever, for they are the rejoicing of our heart”. Ps.119:105, 111. What a wonderful picture, an enlightened walk of service with the accompanying heart of joy, and all through the instrumentality of God’s wonderful book, the Bible.

In the matter of the paths of marriage and especially polygynous marriage, the Lord’s testimonies will also bring enlightenment and rejoicing in our hearts. That is, if we have studied the Lord’s testimonies about marriage and especially polygynous marriage. How much do we know about polygyny from God’s Word? If we only know jumbled bits and pieces then we are not ready to defend this truth or consider living it.

Remember the techniques used when Eve was seduced by the enemy? He questioned with some surprise the Words of the Lord when he asked her;
….. And he said to the woman, Is it so that God has said, You shall not eat of every tree of the garden? Gen 3:1

Notice the cunningly convenient exclusion (freely), inclusion (not) and altering (you shall not) of the words so as to present the Lord’s liberality as a prohibition. Our Lord actually said this;
And Jehovah God commanded the man, saying, You may freely eat of every tree in the garden, but you shall not eat of the tree of knowledge of good and evil. For in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die. Gen 2:16-17

The Serpent jumbled God’s words to present them in a negative suppressive tone and why was it that Eve stumbled at God’s Words and opened the door for Satan to attack Adam? Eve followed the enemy’s pattern. She jumbled and stumbled at the Words of the Lord and responded thus to the enemy’s seditious question;
And the woman said to the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden. But of the fruit of the tree which is in the middle of the garden, God has said, You sh…

Intro & seeking fellowship in Charlotte NC area

Hello, My name is David. I am 43 years old and live in South Carolina just south of Charlotte NC. I was raised in the Baptist church and now I am more nondenominational following the ways of the Lord. I have been a believer in Christian Polygyny since I was in my mid 20’s but was always afraid to speak my heart about it to anyone else. Last November my wife came to me and actually suggested having another woman come into our lives. I was really taken by her suggestion as I didn’t think it was in her interest at all. We had never talked about it before so I began to pray to find the will of the Lord in our lives about this for us. Unfortunately what I was receiving from the Lord about her and I was not a positive one. God looks upon our hearts and He obviously saw something that was not healthy in her will towards the marriage that she and I had. Sadly after 9 years of marriage together she attacked our little boy and when I stepped in to protect him, she attacked me and now we are in the process of a divorce. I have custody of my two little boys now and they have been so awesome through all of this!

I believe that it is Our Heavenly Fathers will to be married again. So, ladies, I am open for friendships. Just thought I’d get the word out there.

I am looking for fellowship with like minded believers in the polygynous lifestyle in the Charlotte NC area. It can be men, women, families with one or two wives. It doesn’t matter. We are all a part of a huge family after all. I am seeking friendships with people that Love God and love others unconditionally as I do.

I have been a pastoral care counselor for the past 6 years and I specialize in relationships, intimacy and marriage counseling. Recently after expressing my views and taking a stand on plural marriages with church leadership without changing my mind I was asked to leave the church. I am in prayer about the next season of my life with my boys. I am in transition and all I can do in Joy is lift up mine eyes and raise…

Peace With God

Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ – Romans 5:1

The phrase "peace for our time" was spoken on 30 September 1938 by British Prime Minister Neville Chamberlain in his speech concerning the Munich Agreement.[1] It is primarily remembered for its ironic value. The Munich Agreement gave the Sudetenland of Czechoslovakia to Adolf Hitler in an attempt to satisfy his desire for Lebensraum ("living space") for Germany. The German occupation of the Sudetenland began on the next day, 1 October.

Less than a year after the agreement, following continued aggression from Germany and its invasion of Poland, Europe was plunged into World War II.

The idea of peace in this world is often fleeting at best. Even those times that we strive to ‘keep the peace’, perhaps by compromising our values, or even giving up God-given rights, we often find ourselves short-changed at best.

But peace for our time is possible; peace with God. Men’s hearts are constantly troubled and weakened by the circumstances of this age. But the Word of God gives us this promise:

The LORD will give strength unto his people; the LORD will bless his people with peace. Psalms 29:11

The peace of God can actually strengthen our hearts, when He blesses us with His peace.

When a man’s ways please the LORD, he maketh even his enemies to be at peace with him. Proverbs 16:7

The peace of God is such that when it permeates our lives, it makes even those that oppose us to be blessed with peace as well!

Peace with God ultimately rests in our accepting, by faith, the justification of God. Jesus died for our sins, paid that price for our justification before a righteous God. We have no worthiness in ourselves, because our righteousness is as filthy rags (Isaiah 64:6). Yet, when we are justified, by faith in that shed blood, we receive the peace of God that passes all understanding

And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep yo…

Things God can show you while cutting grass!

You know, it is amazing just what you can be shown during your quiet time while spending 3 to 3 1/2 hrs cutting grass on a riding mower twice a week or during a 4 hr drive to work. I wish to share some things with you that the Lord and I talked about last week when I was home cutting grass and yet again during my 4 hr drive to week this week along with other things HE and I have discussed over the past several weeks and months. The following is some of what HE and I discussed, argued about, fussed over, asking "Why me and my family". What follows is some of what HE told me about Biblical Plural / Covenant Marriages (BPM ), the "Pecking Order", if you will, of husbands and wives along with general things geared toward the husbands and the wives ………..

It seems strange that out of the blue, the Lord would bring the subject of BPM to me several years ago, for you see, before HE reveled this to me I never really thought about it. How HE also pushed my desire to know more about it, to read up on it, to study it and to except it as truth. That I would find all of the material that I did on it and then started meeting other people, both men and women, on line and in person, who have had the same things shown to them and some are living it right now. I could see that if I were the only one or one of a couple of people to dig into this, that I would be off my rocker……but there are many people, not only on the BF board here but on many other message boards, who are seeking the truth of this as well as many living in a BPM. Not just here in the U.S. but all over the world. Why is that…….Why???……..I feel that the Lord has shown us this as a means of not only instructing us about His word, but as a means of us who have been shown this, being ready to all live this way for He is about to do something to cause people to find ways of surviving that are out of the ordinary. It is and will be a means for single women to find a good and…

how can 2 simply get married according to the Bible and LORD

I would like to know how does a Christian get married in away that is acceptable to the LORD?
I am not concerned about the the traditional way like having a big wedding and a pastor and best men and brides mades,etc.
If this is the way GOD wants it, then that is fine, but what really should be happening in the eyes of the LORD for a man and woman to be married??

some people have claimed to marry themselves by speaking the vows/commitments to each other in their own home.
Some have had a friend help them the vows/commitments.

Does anybody now the rock solid truth about what makes 2 people married in GODs eyes?
The Bible say that what GOD has joined together, let no man seperate,
How does GOD join a man and woman together, does anybody know the truth??

I believe I have found my 1st wife and she feels the same way and we are in a journey together to honour the LORD and be together and i want to know how do we get married when the time comes in a pleasing way to the LORD instead of getting cought up in possibly mans way of marriage,etc.

I would be grateful for help someone has.
GOD Bless you all
